We are a community volunteer group dedicated to revitalising, maintaining, and operating the Kinaba Information Centre.
Kinaba is situated at the northern end of Lake Cootharaba, standing sentinel by the entrance to the upper reaches of the Noosa River.

Friends of Kinaba are passionate about supporting the Kinaba Information Centre. Our volunteers work tirelessly under the supervision of National Park rangers to ensure the centre remains a valuable resource for visitors to the Cooloola National Park.

You can reach Kinaba by sailboat, canoe, kayak or motorboat across Lake Cootharaba from Boreen Point or Elanda Point. Or you can walk from Elanda Point.
