Cooloola is home to a rich variety of wildlife. Captured here are sightings of some of the unique and diverse birds and animals that are found in the Cooloola region.
Wildflowers
Cooloola is famous for its spectacular wildflowers and rich plant diversity. More than 726 species of flowering plants and ferns have been recorded in the region.
Gateway to Kinaba
Flanked by the Great Sandy National Park, Lake Cootharaba serves as the gateway to the upper Noosa River and the Noosa Everglades. It is known for it's spectacular sunsets.
The Friends at Work
Our volunteers work tirelessly to help preserve the Kinaba Information Centre for future generations. We've captured our Friends in action, either working or simply taking a well-earned break.
